Comey Interviewed By Secret Service After Posting Trump ‘Threat’ Online

Former FBI Director James Comey is under scrutiny after posting a photo on Instagram showing seashells spelling “86 47,” widely interpreted as “get rid of” the 47th president, Donald Trump.

Comey claimed the message was unintentional and deleted the post, saying he opposes violence. However, Trump and officials from his administration, including Tulsi Gabbard, dismissed his explanation, calling the post a veiled threat.

The Secret Service interviewed Comey, and an investigation is ongoing. DHS and the FBI are coordinating on the matter. No charges have been filed yet, but the situation has sparked intense political backlash and debate.
