On the return trip along the BR-060 highway, their vehicle was involved in a violent chain collision caused by a reckless mechanic driving under the influence of cocaine and alcohol.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"1011\">The mechanic, driving a Corsa, attempted a dangerous overtaking maneuver, clipping a truck and losing control. His car crashed head-on with the Saveiro carrying Drielle and her children. The Corsa burst into flames, and the driver was ejected, suffering multiple fractures. He remains hospitalized under police guard.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1204\">Inside the Saveiro, the crash\u2019s impact was fatal. Drielle and her three young children died instantly. Her husband survived with minor injuries but was emotionally devastated during the wake.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1294\">Their eldest son, 12, survived after five surgeries and remains hospitalized but stable.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1535\">The wake, held at the City Council chamber, brought together a community united in grief and outrage.
