In April 2023, during a family trip to Pensacola, Florida, Bryce saw four young children caught in rip currents. There were no lifeguards. Yellow warning flags flew. Bryce didn\u2019t hesitate. He ran into the water with two friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile being pulled by currents himself,\u201d Shivy said, \u201che called for help\u2014not for himself, but for the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

But alongside that pain, there is purpose.
