On November 2, 2025, the veteran legal commentator posted an autumn snapshot with her 18-year-old twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth, during their annual trip to Burt\u2019s Pumpkin Patch. Surrounded by golden leaves and bright orange pumpkins, John David stood between his mother and sister, towering over both. Grace captioned the photo:<\/p>\n

John David and Lucy Elizabeth were born on November 4, 2007, arriving prematurely when Grace was 48. Their birth followed a complicated pregnancy that nearly claimed her life. Only a week later, she suffered a severe pulmonary embolism \u2014 a blood clot in her lungs \u2014 and spent months recovering in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n
Her husband, David Linch, told People<\/em> at the time that she was \u201cdoing pretty doggone good,\u201d though Grace later admitted how close she had come to death. The experience, she has said, forever changed her outlook.<\/p>\n
