Jenna Bush Hager is officially welcoming a permanent co-host to her fourth-hour morning show. After nearly a year of rotating guest co-hosts\u2014including Brooke Shields, Olivia Munn, and Scarlett Johansson\u2014Hager announced on December 9 that Today\u2019s Sheinelle Jones will join her as a permanent partner starting January 12. The show will be rebranded as Today with Jenna & Sheinelle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hager expressed excitement over their collaboration, calling Jones her \u201cforever friend\u201d and highlighting their decade-long friendship. Jones shared similar enthusiasm, reflecting on her career journey and describing this opportunity as \u201cbeyond my wildest dreams.\u201d The two grew emotional on-air as they discussed the meaningful connection they share.<\/p>\n

Jones, 47, has been a member of the Today family since October 2014, first co-anchoring Weekend Today<\/em> and later hosting the third hour of Today<\/em> from January 2019. She took a nearly nine-month hiatus to support her husband, Uche Ojeh, during his battle with brain cancer.
