A tragic plane crash near Washington, D.C., has left no survivors after a passenger jet collided with a U.S. Army helicopter near Reagan National Airport. The crash, which occurred around 9:00 PM, resulted in both aircraft plummeting into the Potomac River, with a massive explosion captured on CCTV. The plane, carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew members, included several members of the U.S. Figure Skating community, including skaters Jinna Han and Spencer Lane, along with their families and Russian-born coaches Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, both former world champions. The crash also involved three soldiers aboard the helicopter, reportedly on a training mission. Recovery operations have been ongoing in difficult conditions, and 28 bodies, including those of the skaters and coaches, have been recovered.
