Trump Amasses Massive War Chest With Eye Toward Midterms, 2028 Elections

Former President Donald Trump has reportedly raised \$600 million and aims to reach \$1 billion to support Republicans in the 2026 midterms and maintain influence through 2028.

According to the Associated Press, Trump began fundraising immediately after defeating Kamala Harris, leveraging his momentum. His efforts include high-dollar events like a \$1.5 million-per-person fundraiser for crypto and AI donors.

The funds are being funneled through groups like MAGA Inc. and Securing American Greatness. Trump said he’ll be “very active” in midterm races, using his war chest to help Republican candidates win and expand control in Congress, emphasizing his continued role as a dominant figure in GOP politics.
