Fox’s Peter Doocy on Joe Biden: ‘I Will Miss Him’

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy reflected on his relationship with President Biden in a New York Magazine interview, expressing that he will miss their often-contentious exchanges. Covering the Democratic National Convention, Doocy noted the excitement of attendees and praised the Obamas’ powerful speeches.

Though a frequent critic, he acknowledged Biden’s continued engagement with tough questions over the years. Doocy recalled Biden’s quick retort to his pointed question during a press conference, calling it a turning point. The interview also touched on the Democratic Party’s choice of Kamala Harris, with Doocy saying the convention made the decision seem right. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security faces a lawsuit from the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA) over a lack of response to a FOIA request. CASA seeks details about Pennsylvania’s “Election Threats Task Force” and its ties to CISA, alleging the task force may aim to suppress election-related speech labeled as misinformation.
