Husband Sentenced After Tragic Stabbing of Wife

Stephen Dennis, 36, Sentenced to 18 Years for Murder of Wife Aliccia Grant

Stephen Dennis, 36, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Aliccia Grant, 37. The tragic incident occurred just after midnight on September 9, 2024, in a Home Depot parking lot in north Phoenix. Witnesses reported hearing Grant screaming for help before she later died at the hospital.

Dennis, who was sitting beside her during the attack, called 911 afterward and confessed, guiding police to the weapon. The couple had recently married but were already discussing an annulment. Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell called the crime especially cruel, citing the betrayal of trust in a marital relationship.

Grant, known professionally as Glamazon Makeup, was a talented artist, entrepreneur, and devoted mother of two. Her death has shaken the Phoenix community. A GoFundMe campaign was launched to support her funeral and her children’s future. Authorities continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to come forward, while respecting the family’s privacy.
