Henry Winkler Inducted into Television Hall of Fame
Henry Winkler, best known as “The Fonz” from Happy Days, was honored at the Television Academy’s 27th Hall of Fame Ceremony on August 17 at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles. The evening recognized his decades of impact on television and entertainment.

His induction was presented by longtime friend and 2022 Hall of Fame honoree Bob Daly, whom Winkler had inducted just three years earlier. In his speech, Winkler thanked the many people who supported his career, saying, “I would not be here if it were not for you.”
Other honorees included Viola Davis, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Mike Post, and the late Don Mischer.
Winkler called the night “overwhelming” and shared his gratitude online. His induction not only celebrates a legendary career but also a life grounded in love, humility, and collaboration.
