In 2017, Jeremy Evans went hunting for a Bighorn Ram in the Alberta woods but instead faced a charging mother grizzly bear. The bear attacked fiercely, mauling him and causing severe injuries, including his left eye nearly coming out of its socket. After the bear left, Jeremy, badly hurt and believing he might die, tried to end his life, but his gun misfired. He sent farewell messages to his wife and then found the strength to reach his car. Jeremy drove 22 kilometers to get help. He was rushed to the hospital, undergoing five weeks of recovery, with multiple surgeries to save his life. Despite lasting injuries, his survival is a powerful story of resilience and determination against incredible odds.
