Monica Riley once aimed to become the heaviest person in the world, consuming massive amounts of high-calorie, high-fat foods. Struggling with weight since childhood, Monica decided to embrace her condition rather than fight it, supported throughout by her husband Sid.
At her peak weight, Monica became bedridden, unable to move without help, and was urged by people worldwide to reconsider her choices for the sake of her health. Despite reaching 400 kg (about 880 lbs), she realized total immobility wasn’t part of her plan.
A turning point came when Monica embraced motherhood—she gave birth to two children, which brought new purpose and joy to her life. This role shifted her focus from extreme weight gain toward caring for her family. Today, Monica finds happiness in motherhood and continues to live a meaningful life, showing resilience beyond her past struggles.
