When Melania Trump and Donald Trump first met in 1998, she disclosed the two things that drew her to him.

In her memoir, Melania, which was released in October of last year, the soon-to-be First Lady wrote a memoir in which she discussed her connection with the Republican president-elect, who will formally take office at his inauguration ceremony on Monday, January

Melania recalls meeting Trump in a nightclub in New York City, who will be the first person with a felony conviction to become president.

She remembered that fateful meeting that happened during Fashion Week at the Kit Kat Klub in New York City.

Melania, a Slovenian model, had just immigrated to the US to further her career, and Trump was recently divorced from his second wife, Marla Maples.

Despite being on a date with another lady, Trump asked his future wife for her number when he and his “attractive blonde” partner arrived to see Melania at a table in the VIP area.

However, she refused and instead requested his phone number.
