Two sisters, Alydia (11) and Everly (14), were among the victims of the recent plane crash near Washington, D.C. The competitive figure skaters had just returned from the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita. Their parents, Donna and Peter Livingston, also died in the collision. The girls’ passion for skating was evident, as they loved performing and training. Family friend Cassandra Atkins recalled their lively personalities and how Donna was a devoted mother. The skating community mourned their loss, remembering Alydia’s vivacious spirit and Everly’s reserved yet graceful skating. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
