DOGE Unveils Impressive Progress After First 10 Days

The newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has made significant strides in reducing federal spending. Within its first 10 days, it eliminated 85 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) contracts valued at $1 billion across 24 federal agencies, including Education, Defense, Treasury, and Homeland Security. This move follows President Trump’s Executive Order on Government Efficiency, aiming to streamline federal operations and cut unnecessary costs. Among the cuts, the Office of Personnel Management saw nearly $500 million in reductions, while the Department of Agriculture cut over $110 million. DOGE, led by Elon Musk, will continue eliminating wasteful contracts to improve government productivity over the next 18 months.
