Recent reports reveal that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has apprehended over 100 members of the Tren de Aragua gang in Aurora, Colorado, during “lightning raids” between January 21 and February 3. The raids are part of a larger operation where ICE arrested 194 gang members residing unlawfully in the U.S., with deportation flights to Venezuela in the works. The Tren de Aragua gang, known for taking control of several apartment complexes in Aurora, has instilled fear among local residents. Border Hawk reported the gang’s roundup, which was praised by supporters of President Trump’s aggressive immigration policies. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized Trump’s commitment to arresting and deporting dangerous criminal organizations. To date, over 7,000 criminal illegal immigrants have been arrested in extensive ICE operations. Additionally, plans are underway to house deported illegal aliens at Guantanamo Bay, as Trump asserts that some detainees are too dangerous for their home countries.
