Dorito Taco Salad
A fun and flavorful twist on classic taco salad, combining seasoned ground beef, fresh veggies, and the irresistible crunch of Doritos. Perfect for weeknight dinners or potlucks!
Ingredients
For the Salad:

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

¼ cup water

1 head romaine lettuce, chopped

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

½ cup red onion, diced
-
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)

2 cups crushed Doritos (nacho cheese flavor)
For the Dressing:

1 cup Catalina dressing (or ranch dressing)

Juice of 1 lime (optional)
Instructions

Cook the Ground Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Drain excess fat.

Add taco seasoning and water, stirring to coat the beef. Simmer 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Salad:

In a large bowl, combine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, red onion, black beans, and corn. Toss to mix evenly.

Add Beef & Doritos:

Add the seasoned beef to the salad and toss.

Just before serving, sprinkle crushed Doritos on top to keep them crunchy.

Dress the Salad:

Pour the Catalina dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat.

Optional: Add a squeeze of lime juice for extra tang.
