Musk Seeks ‘Wave of Impeachments’ For Federal Judges

Elon Musk is urging GOP-controlled Congress to draft a “wave of impeachments” for federal judges after a D.C. court ordered the Trump administration to restore federal health datasets taken offline. Musk’s call followed a ruling by U.S. District Judge John Bates, who sided with Doctors for America, a progressive group, in challenging Trump’s executive order banning the promotion of “gender ideology.” Musk also called for impeaching a judge who blocked his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing Treasury Department data. Trump has expressed frustration with recent rulings, calling them politically motivated. Meanwhile, Arizona Rep. Eli Crane has drafted articles of impeachment against Judge Paul Engelmayer for his ruling against DOGE. Trump’s removal of FEC Chairwoman Ellen Weintraub has also sparked controversy, with Weintraub refusing to step down, claiming the termination notice is illegal.
