Vance Slams CBS Host Brennan For Trying To Smear Tulsi Gabbard

Vice President J.D. Vance defended Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for Director of National Intelligence during an interview with CBS anchor Margaret Brennan. Vance dismissed criticisms from conservative outlets like the Wall Street Journal and National Review, arguing that they have lost relevance and don’t determine presidential appointments. He emphasized Gabbard’s military background, impeccable service record, and her ability to restore trust in U.S. intelligence services. Vance countered Brennan’s insinuations, stating that Gabbard would rein in bureaucrats and refocus intelligence services on national security. Senators Lisa Murkowski and Bill Cassidy have expressed support for Gabbard’s confirmation, citing her independent thinking and commitment to balancing national security with civil liberties.
