Adric White, 18, decided to walk

In Mobile, Alabama, an attempted armed robbery at a Family Dollar was foiled when a legally armed Good Samaritan intervened. The suspect, 18-year-old Adric White, who was out on bond for a previous robbery, allegedly held store employees at gunpoint, demanding money.

White ordered employees and customers to comply but was unaware that an armed bystander was nearby. The bystander fired shots, stopping the robbery. Authorities confirmed that White was wounded but survived the gunshot wounds.
