AG Bondi Issues Final Warning To Blue State Officials Defying Federal Law Over Migrants

Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a strong warning to Democratic governors and mayors, particularly in Illinois and New York, stating that the Trump administration will find and deport illegal aliens in these states. Bondi’s remarks, made during an appearance on America Reports, were framed as a final notice before potential legal action is taken. She emphasized the importance of complying with federal law or facing consequences, adding that those who protect illegal immigrants over American citizens would be held accountable.

Bondi’s comments came in response to resistance from Democratic leaders, including New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, who have criticized the administration’s immigration policies. Bondi underscored that the law supports the Trump administration’s stance, particularly in the fight against violent crime and drug cartels, and reaffirmed her commitment to enforcement, despite the political pushback.
