White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller fired back Friday at Democratic criticism following the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan, accused of obstructing the arrest of an illegal migrant.
Responding to figures like Rep. Ro Khanna and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Miller argued that Democrats have long abused government power to target political opponents. In a post on X, he listed actions such as spying on the Trump campaign, censoring dissent, and using the legal system to undermine former President Trump. Miller said the same party that “engineered a mass invasion” now objects when someone faces legal consequences for interfering with immigration enforcement. He accused Democrats of hypocrisy, claiming they oppose accountability only when it suits their agenda. “These same Democrats howl with rage,” Miller wrote, “when those who harbor invaders and obstruct removal are held accountable.”
