Scott Jennings May Run for McConnell’s Seat—If Trump Approves

CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings is considering a run for Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat but says he’ll only do it with Donald Trump’s approval.

Jennings, a former McConnell adviser, has gained visibility on CNN and recently signed a new contract. Others already in the race include Daniel Cameron and Rep. Andy Barr, with Trump yet to endorse a candidate.
