At 50, Angelina Jolie is preparing to leave behind the spotlight of Los Angeles and Hollywood. With her youngest children nearing adulthood, she has listed her Los Feliz estate, purchased in 2017 for $24.5 million, signaling a move toward a quieter, more private life.
The historic six-bedroom mansion, built in 1913 and once owned by filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, offered Jolie and her family a sanctuary during difficult times. Set on two acres with lush gardens, a pool, and views of Griffith Observatory, the home served as a refuge for her children and friends affected by wildfires.
Located just five minutes from ex Brad Pitt’s residence, the estate’s proximity eased co-parenting responsibilities. Jolie cherished the house’s peaceful atmosphere and history more than its grandeur, calling it a “fortunate place.”
Following her divorce finalization in December 2024 and with twins Knox and Vivienne turning 18, Jolie is ready for a new start. She plans to relocate abroad, with Cambodia—a country tied deeply to her cultural and philanthropic efforts—at the center of her next chapter.
While seeking privacy and a slower pace of life, Jolie will continue international travel, staying close to family and advancing her humanitarian work away from Hollywood’s glare.
