DOJ, FBI Seize Record Amounts of Drugs, Firearms In Major International Arrest

DOJ, FBI Seize Record Drugs and Firearms in Global Crackdown

The DOJ, FBI, and international partners conducted Operation RapTor, the largest darknet drug crackdown in JCODE’s history. The operation resulted in 270 arrests across 10 countries, seizing over $200 million in cash and digital assets, two metric tons of narcotics, 144 kilograms of fentanyl, and 180 firearms.

Law enforcement targeted darknet vendors involved in opioid and fentanyl trafficking. Officials emphasized the operation’s global reach and warned that the anonymity of cybercriminals offers no protection.

Operation RapTor builds on previous successes and highlights growing international cooperation in combating dark web crimes. Europol and ICE also played key roles.
