Driver Notices Little Boy Crying in School Bus, Jumps in to Help after Seeing His Freezing Hands – Story of the Day

On a cold December morning, Ms. Collins, the school bus driver, noticed a usually cheerful boy named Eni sitting quietly with tears in his eyes. Concerned, she saw that his hands were red and frozen from the cold, as he had forgotten his mittens. While the other children were oblivious to his distress, Ms. Collins decided to act quickly. She pulled over the bus and approached Eni, who explained his predicament.

Seeing his hands were icy pink, Ms. Collins comforted him and reached into her bag for a spare pair of knitted gloves, which she gave to Eni. His face lit up with relief and gratitude as he put them on, warming up immediately. The warmth not only returned to his hands but also to his spirits, and he began chatting happily with his friends again.

Ms. Collins used the opportunity to remind Eni about the importance of wearing mittens in the cold. Word of her kindness spread, and soon, the other children were inspired by her caring nature. From that day forward, Eni always remembered to bring his mittens, and the bus continued with a sense of community and warmth.

Ms. Collins’ simple act of kindness taught the children valuable lessons about looking out for one another, especially in the harsh winter months. Her thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression on the entire bus, fostering a spirit of care and compassion.
