FCC Chair to Brief GOP on Soros Radio Station Inquiry
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr will update Republican lawmakers Wednesday on the agency’s probe into George Soros’s influence over local radio stations. He’s scheduled to speak at a private luncheon with the Republican Study Committee, which includes 175 House members.
The focus is Soros’s ties to a firm that bought over 200 Audacy stations last year, raising GOP concerns over media bias and foreign ownership. Carr is expected to outline strategies to counter left-leaning media influence.
