Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville sharply criticized President Joe Biden this week, suggesting he should retire to his Rehoboth Beach home and stay out of the public eye. On the Politics War Room podcast, Carville said Biden had alienated both the public and his own party. He specifically pointed to Biden’s claim that he could have beaten Trump in the 2024 election, calling it unbelievable. Carville argued that Biden’s involvement in politics now only harms the party, stating, “The party’s moving on.” He urged Biden to step aside, reflecting on his once-noble career and noting that the current situation was entirely of Biden’s own making. Carville added that Biden’s continued presence in politics would only hinder progress, suggesting he would be better off focusing on less controversial endeavors like raising money for a library.
