Kamala Harris Hit With Brutal News

A recent UC Berkeley and Politico survey found mixed feelings among California political insiders about Kamala Harris potentially running for governor in 2026.

While 36% were indifferent, only 22% were mostly excited, and some expressed irritation or outrage.

Among registered voters, especially Democrats and minorities, support was higher, with many feeling “joyful” or “mostly excited.” Harris, who lost to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, has remained quiet about her political future but hinted she’s staying active.

She recently appeared at a California summit, reaffirming her commitment to public service. Though she hasn’t announced a bid, early polls suggest she’d be the Democratic frontrunner.

Former HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra has already entered the race, and Harris is expected to reveal her decision by summer.
