Rachel once believed those closest to her children could be trusted—until her German Shepherd, Daisy, began behaving oddly around her mother-in-law, Linda. Normally gentle, Daisy became defensive, growling and placing herself between Linda and the kids. Despite Rachel’s concern, her husband David dismissed it as a phase.
