New Survey Ends Democrat Dream Of ‘Turning Texas Blue’

A new poll shows a significant increase in Hispanic support for President Donald Trump in Texas, casting doubt on Democrats’ long-standing goal of flipping the state.

The InsiderAdvantage survey found that 59.6% of Hispanic respondents approve of Trump’s performance, up 22 points from April.

In the 2024 election, Trump won 55% of the Hispanic vote in Texas, including many first-time voters.

Economic developments, such as Apple’s new AI facility in Houston, may be influencing public opinion.

While experts caution that polling trends can shift quickly, the current numbers suggest that Democratic hopes of “turning Texas blue” may be fading for now.
