Jennifer Robyn Bernard, a former actress best known for her role on General Hospital, has passed away. Bernard portrayed Terry Brock on the long-running soap opera, appearing in 145 episodes between 1984 and 1990. Her work on the show made her a familiar face to fans during its peak years in the 1980s.

She was found deceased earlier this week in San Jacinto, California, according to a report by TMZ. Police responded to a call on Tuesday to investigate a death, and Bernard was later identified through fingerprint records. The cause of death has not yet been determined. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed by the Riverside County Coroner on Wednesday.

In addition to her role on General Hospital, Bernard also appeared in Voices from the High School (2002), in which she played a psychologist. Though her acting career was relatively brief, her role on General Hospital left a lasting impression.

Her passing follows the recent loss of another General Hospital icon, Jackie Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer. In a tribute, fans and colleagues remembered both women for their professionalism and the positive energy they brought to set.
