However, after consulting with Vice President J.D. Vance, Cassidy decided to support Kennedy, citing commitments from the administration on key issues like healthy foods and a pro-American agenda. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo praised Kennedy’s career fighting chronic illness and advocating for healthcare transparency. Despite concerns over his vaccine stance, Kennedy responded to over 900 questions, showcasing his readiness for the role.
