Taylor Greene Considering Run For Senate Against Ossoff

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is considering a Senate campaign, exploring the possibility of challenging Democratic Sen.

Jon Ossoff in 2026. She is eyeing the Republican nomination if Gov. Brian Kemp, nearing the end of his second term, chooses not to run.

Greene believes she could easily dominate a GOP primary without Kemp in the race. The contest would be pivotal, as Ossoff’s narrow win in 2021 contributed to the Republicans losing their Senate majority.

Despite polling showing Kemp as a stronger candidate, Greene could avoid a runoff, giving her an edge. Greene has confirmed she’s weighing a Senate bid, though she also praised Kemp as a solid candidate.

Her ties to former President Trump could boost her campaign significantly.
