Newborns are precious gifts that inspire hope in the world, and the announcement of a pregnancy brings joy as families anticipate a new member. However, every pregnancy has its challenges, despite medical advancements. Tru Wende Beare’s story is remarkable—born 14 weeks early, weighing just 1 pound, she fought for her life from the very beginning. After spending weeks in an incubator and facing severe health issues, including two bouts of necrotizing enterocolitis, blood infections, and chronic lung disease, Tru’s condition gradually improved. By day 90, she was able to breathe without oxygen. After four months, she was finally discharged and, today, at over three years old, she is a healthy, happy toddler and a big sister. Tru’s journey is a testament to resilience, and her story continues to inspire hope and joy.
Tru is now over three years old, and she is healthy and happy.
