DNA testing has confirmed with 99% certainty that Dustin Walker, an Oklahoma man and the stepfather of an 11-year-old girl, is the father of her newborn child. Over the weekend, the girl gave birth at home without any medical assistance. She lived with Walker and her mother, Cherie Walker, who is currently held on child neglect charges and faces additional charges pending final paternity results expected in two weeks. Both are held on $100,000 bond.

Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson called the case “horrible,” emphasizing that the girl gave birth alone at just 11 years old. Neighbors described the home as unlivable, with no running water for years and unsanitary conditions, prompting police intervention. Neighbor Cheryl Adkins said, “They robbed her of her childhood.”

The girl’s grandmother, Michelle, defended the family, claiming they were unaware of the pregnancy and that the girl accused a 12-year-old boy. Michelle added, “They have turned my daughter and son-in-law into monsters. They adore those kids.”
