Trump also targeted Taylor—who famously authored an anonymous 2018 op-ed criticizing Trump from within his administration—calling him “guilty of treason.” The order includes revoking clearances for individuals tied to Taylor’s work at the University of Pennsylvania. White House staff described these moves as steps to restore integrity and national security. Meanwhile, DNI Tulsi Gabbard stated that U.S. intelligence has uncovered evidence that electronic voting systems remain vulnerable to manipulation, reinforcing Trump’s broader narrative of election insecurity. DOJ investigations into both Krebs and Taylor are reportedly underway.
