White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said the entire family of a Colombian teen who killed 24-year-old Kaitlyn Weaver in a high-speed crash in Colorado could be deported.
The teen, an illegal immigrant, was sentenced to probation and community service. ICE confirmed it had arrested him and his undocumented family members.
Miller posted on X that “the entire family will be deported.” Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration in allowing the termination of humanitarian parole for over 500,000 migrants from Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, and Nicaragua. The court’s decision halts a lower court ruling that had blocked the move. Trump had issued an executive order to eliminate parole programs, and DHS began ending them in March. The ruling also allows the administration to rescind Temporary Protected Status for 350,000 Venezuelans while legal challenges continue, reflecting Trump’s aggressive stance on immigration enforcement and deportation policies.
