President Donald Trump has appointed Fox News host Mark Levin, former contributor Bo Dietl, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, and Florida GOP Chairman Joseph Gruters to his revamped Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).
Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, praising the appointees as “Top Experts” who will help shape policies under DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, focusing on border security, deportations, and stopping fentanyl trafficking. Levin, a longtime conservative broadcaster and legal commentator, celebrated the appointment, calling it an honor. The move comes as Levin recently signed a multi-year extension with Cumulus Media and Westwood One, which includes his flagship radio show, a new podcast, and continued weekend hosting duties on Fox News. Known for his legal analysis and staunch support of Trump, Levin commands a large national audience across radio and television. Trump’s appointments reflect his focus on aligning Homeland Security with high-profile allies as his administration prepares for its second term.
