What will happen to Barron Trump’s US citizenship after Trump signs order to end automatic birthright citizenship

Since Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president on January 20, 2025, he has signed several executive orders, including withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, the World Health Organization (WHO), and delaying the TikTok ban. He also moved to end birthright citizenship, which grants US citizenship to anyone born in the country. His executive order would prevent children born in the US to unauthorized immigrants or those on temporary visas from automatically receiving US citizenship. However, this does not affect Barron Trump, who was born to a US citizen father and a lawful permanent resident mother. The order likely faces legal challenges, as birthright citizenship is protected by the 14th Amendment, making its end through executive order unlikely.
