Young Woman Dies on Bus in Brazil with 26 iPhones Glued to Her Body
A 20-year-old woman tragically died while traveling by bus from Foz do Iguaçu to São Paulo, Brazil. She reportedly fell ill during a stop at a restaurant in Guarapuava, Paraná. After complaining of difficulty breathing, she suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. Despite emergency care from SAMU medics, she could not be revived.
What shocked authorities was what they found after her death—26 iPhones glued to her body. Inside her luggage, they also discovered multiple bottles of alcohol. No drugs were found, and she was traveling alone.
The phones were confiscated and sent to the Federal Revenue Service, as officials suspect she was involved in smuggling. Her identity has not been publicly released.
