‘General Hospital’ Star Robyn Bernard Dies at 64
Robyn Bernard, best known for her role as Terry Brock on General Hospital, has passed away at the age of 64. She was found deceased earlier this week in San Jacinto, California, according to TMZ. Authorities used fingerprint identification after responding to a call on Tuesday. An autopsy will be conducted by the Riverside County Coroner to determine the official cause of death.
Bernard starred in General Hospital from 1984 to 1990, appearing in 145 episodes as the character Terry Brock—a singer and recovering alcoholic navigating life’s struggles in the fictional town of Port Charles. Her work made a lasting impression on fans of the long-running ABC soap opera.
Outside of General Hospital, Bernard had a few other acting credits, including a role as a psychologist in the 2002 drama Voices from the High School. Though she eventually stepped away from the spotlight, her work continues to be remembered by soap fans and industry peers alike.
Her passing follows the recent loss of another General Hospital icon, Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer), whose death also deeply affected the show’s cast and crew. “She brought a lot of positive energy to work,” said one tribute, highlighting the close-knit nature of the GH family.
Robyn Bernard is survived by loved ones, including friends and extended family. As fans remember her contributions to daytime television, tributes continue to pour in from co-stars and those touched by her work.
May she rest in peace.
