Four of Michael J. Fox’s kids have announced the awful news

Michael J. Fox: A Father First, Always

Michael J. Fox, the beloved actor who captured hearts in Back to the Future, often says his most meaningful role isn’t one from Hollywood — it’s being a dad. Married to actress Tracy Pollan for over 35 years, Fox has built a life defined not by fame, but by love, resilience, and family.

The couple, who met on the set of Family Ties, share four children: son Sam, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and youngest daughter Esmé. Though Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, he has faced every challenge with humor and grace, crediting his wife and kids as his greatest motivation.

In interviews and social media posts, Fox often reflects on the joy his family brings him. “They make me laugh, they keep me grounded, and they remind me what really matters,” he once said. Pollan has called her husband’s optimism and strength “the heartbeat of our family.”

Their children, now adults, remain close-knit and often appear beside their father at events or in his 2023 documentary, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie. The film offered an intimate look at his life — not just as a Hollywood icon or an advocate for Parkinson’s research, but as a husband and father who never gives up on gratitude or grace.

Through it all, Fox’s message stays the same: life is precious, laughter heals, and family is everything.
