Raynaud’s disease is a condition where blood flow to fingers and toes is reduced in response to cold, stress, or anxiety, causing color changes (white, blue, red), pain, numbness, or tingling. It’s fairly common, often first noticed in adolescence, especially in women, and typically doesn’t cause major issues, but it can be uncomfortable. The condition can sometimes be linked to other health problems. If symptoms persist or cause severe pain, it’s advisable to see a doctor. Around 20% of adults worldwide are affected by Raynaud’s, which is usually manageable with proper care and treatment.
