Brazil’s “Human Satan” Removes More Fingers in Ongoing Body Transformation
Brazilian tattoo artist Diabao Praddo, formerly known as Michel, has taken his radical body modifications further by removing two more fingers from his left hand. The procedure adds to his claw-like appearance, part of his ongoing quest to resemble an alien or non-human figure.
Nicknamed the “Human Satan,” the 50-year-old from Praia Grande has already amputated fingers on his right hand and undergone over 100 body-altering procedures. These include tongue splitting, nose and ear removal, and even consuming one of his own nipples. His transformation is also marked by extensive tattooing, with 85% of his body inked.
Praddo holds a Guinness World Record for the most subdermal horn implants on a human head—33 in total. Each modification, he says, is a step toward becoming “something beyond human.”
Despite the risks and limitations, Praddo continues working as a tattoo artist. He once feared his surgeries would end his career, but he adapted quickly to his altered hands. Though he sometimes experiences phantom pain, he views it as a necessary part of his transformation. “It’s a price I’m willing to pay,” he explained.
His journey is not a solo one. Carol Praddo, his wife of over a decade—known as the “Demon Woman”—has supported and even supervised many of his procedures. The couple shares a vision: for Diabao to be recognized as the world’s most modified person.
For Praddo, the modifications are not about shock value. They are a physical expression of his identity—an artistic and personal evolution. His body, he says, is a canvas for a vision that challenges conventional definitions of humanity.
