Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, a senior MS-13 gang leader, has been extradited from Mexico to the United States to face charges for his alleged involvement in drug distribution, extortion, and multiple acts of violence in the U.S. and El Salvador. His capture was announced by FBI Director Kash Patel, marking him as the third fugitive from the agency’s “Ten Most Wanted” list apprehended since President Donald J. Trump took office.
Earlier in 2025, the FBI also captured:
-
Arnoldo Jimenez (January 30), wanted for first-degree murder.
-
Donald Eugene Fields II (January 25), wanted for suspected child rape and child sex trafficking.
The administration emphasized its commitment to prosecuting criminals and ensuring public safety.
