Fox Wins Lawsuit Against Tarlov Brought by Hunter Biden Whistleblower

A New York judge dismissed Tony Bobulinski’s $30 million defamation lawsuit against Fox News co-host Jessica Tarlov, ruling in favor of Tarlov’s motion to dismiss. The judge found that Bobulinski failed to prove defamation and ordered him to pay Tarlov’s legal fees under New York’s anti-SLAPP law. The case stemmed from Tarlov’s statement on The Five in January, where she claimed that a Trump Super PAC paid for Bobulinski’s legal fees. Although Tarlov later corrected the statement, Bobulinski sued for damages. The court’s decision marks the first federal case to award attorney’s fees under New York’s anti-SLAPP statute, reinforcing the legal protection for public figures.
